Delete iPhone videos after importing?

I have a lot of videos and photos on my iPhone - so much that I'm out of memory. The first thing I want to do is import all of my videos to iMovie and then clear them off my phone. I have succesfully imported all of the videos I've taken on my iPhone into iMovie, now I am trying to figure out a QUICK way to delete all of those movies off of my phone. Any ideas?

The Camera Roll is temporary storage. Photos/videos in the Camera Roll can be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera.

Photo/video importing options available on your computer include an option to delete the photos from the Camera Roll after being imported as with any other digital camera.

The Image Capture application on a Mac allows for deleting select photos/videos from the Camera Roll without having to import.

How in iMovie do you delete videos from your iPhone after you've imported them? After the import completed the import window simply closed, and I'm having trouble finding a setting anywhere in iMovie that allows me to choose to delete videos after they have been imported.
