I downloaded some mp3's from yousendit.com onto my iphone and now I can't find them. I thought they would have been stored in my music app, but they aren't there. I downloaded them again into dropbox but I can't figure out how to get them from dropbox into my music folder. Can anyone help out here?

You might have to download them from your computer, then add then to your itunes media library and then sync your phone to itunes.

You need to transfer the music to computer iTunes then do a sync with the music selected.

I would say otherwise. If you could download anything directly, the chances of getting a virus is very high. This is one of the many iPhone security features.

I read the other responses, and I use Wondershare TransPod as I am really tired of iTunes over-writing everything that is already on the iPhone and visa versa.
BUT I downloaded a M4 from DropBox and I can PLAY IT on the iPhone 4S but I can't find the file ....

what a bs ckuan, getting a virus from a mp3?? from a mp3 that is not from an unknown source and already on ur computer??
its not a "feature", its one of many failures of apple. they try to set new standards everywhere and force u to use their software (itunes) instead of an easy drag & drop.

Finally someone is talking some sense. The iTunes sync is the worst thing in iPhone/iPad products.
Have you looked in your Dropbox app ?
Dear Apple - you guys have some awsome products. Sadly iTunes is not one of them. iTunes is AWFUL !!!
Can you find a better way to manmage content on your devices without needing this iTunes joke.
