does powernap back up my data to time Machine wirelessly also?

if in power nap will my macbook air back up to time machine also while being wireless. or just hardwired

MacBook Air, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

Yes. Its power adapter needs to be connected.

sorry for my ignorance but just to clarify since i kinda wrote it wrong. so if i have my time capsule on my network. my mac will back up to it wireless as long as my AC in pluged in
