HT5452 iPad 3 with Retina?

I was told 'some' iPad 3's came with Retina.  Is that wrong?  If it's true, how would one know? Model# A1416

    All iPad third generation models have the retina display. That was one of the new features of the iPad 3 - the retina display. You can read it for yourself here.
