latest version of iphoto

when i try to open my iphoto i receive an error message saying "You can't open your current photo library using this version of iPhoto. You have made changes to your photo library using a newer version of iPhoto. Please quit and use the latest version of iPhoto."

I just installed iLife 06 today. This error message started occurring randomly last week. Any ideas on how to get my iPhoto open; or atleast how to get pictures off of my camera onto the computer?
