Unable to join network (WIFI)

I can pick up my home wifi network but when it comes to connecting it just says "Unable to join this network"

I can connect and it works fine if i am right up close to the router but if i come with in 10 yards it fails.

very fustrating and only recently started occuring. Any ideas?
