My son accidentally deleted minecraft pe world today on ipad. Is there way to retrieve it from last ipad icloud backup, which was yesterday?

Open the App Store, click "Updates" in the lower right corner, and find "Purchased" near the top. You can find your app and can re-download it from there.
To clarify, the minecraft game was not deleted, only the minecraft world.

When you asked your question, I did make the assumption (incorrectly) that you were asking about an application.
To clarify, didn't delete minecraft app, just the minecraft world he created.

Correct. I was just curious if I deleted the app then did a re-install from icloud if it will pull all the data back in from previous plays.
If I do this will it restore all of the previous information or just the app?

What if I reset the entire Ipad and loaded from the cloud? Would it only bring back apps then and not the data created during play time?
