Blank FAQ window appears on desktop
Does anyone know what this issue is (reference image)? This window appears on my desktop randomly and not sure what it is. I do fear my MacBook Pro has a virus.
MacBook Pro, iOS 6.0.2, Virus? Malware?
Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Sorry no virus. The program is Snagit which is a screen capture program that you must have installed on your Mac and set to capture the screen or whatever at whatever interval.
Sorry I wasn't clearer. I used snag it to capture the blank faq window as a jpeg.
When it comes up again just capture the screen with 'command-shift-3.'
Does it matter how the image is captured? Will this new image version give you more insight into the issue I'm experiencing?
If you click on the main body of the FAQ what program shows up in the menu on the left side?
Nothing. That's the weird part. I hope it doesn't damage my system. Don't know if I should purchase an antivirus program, make an appointment at the genesis bar, or live with it.

Out of the three choices you propose the one that makes most sense is to make an appt. at the genius bar.
This issue is caused by an App Store product called "Live Wallpaper." Remove it or contact the developer for support.
I had the same annying problem. after an app store update of Live Wallpaper it seems to have gone away. Thanks for the help!
