How to buy content from itunes store in other countries

That does not make sense to me at all. So why can I buy a physical CD let's say in the UK with a credit card from my home country and listen to it in my home country ??? Same content vendors I would think ...

Because you are purchasing it from the iTunes Store, not walking into a store and purchasing something. Amazon is the same way. You cannot purchase content in the French Amazon store via the US Amazon Store.

This has nothing to do with Apple. It has to do with Copyright laws as well as with the laws of the country the store is doing business in. Not all countries, for example, allow you to even purchase music or music videos - only apps.

Again, this is no different than any other major online store that does business in mulitple countries works.

Really *****! My account is US but I am also a permanent resident of the Philippines and here now. I want to download the free Mc Donald's app and keep getting switched back to the US store because I don't have a Philippine account. Can I have both? I have bank account in Philippines and credit card no problem. If I establish an account in the Philippines store will I lose my US downloads. Really ****** up, hate it, ****** system

If your US purchases are currently downloaded to your iTunes library, and then you go into your iTunes account and change your address to the Philippines, and change your payment method to a bank in the Philippines, then you can switch stores to the Philippines store and begin purchasing and downloading content from that store. You will not have access, during this time, to your items purchased in the US iTunes store that are housed in iTunes in the Cloud and which have not already been downloaded to your iTunes library on your computer.

So, before changing your address, bankcard, and country in iTunes, be sure to download any of your iTunes purchases that you want access to into your iTunes Library. Then change countries.
