This utility is not at all user friendly. Where do you update MMS settings via configuration utility? There is option for APN but where would I see MMS settings?

Does anyone know where is MMS settings in the configuratino utility? I see APN for the profile but no MMS and I need to change those settings for my unlocked iPhone to work with net10 service. I can send and receive regular messages but not MMS. Can anyone help me? It seems everyboy tells me how to create profile and APN settings but no one even apple reps know what to do. It's really frustrating.

Net10 is not a supported carrier.

Contact them and get the information needed to set up MMS on the device.

Not all carriers support all features of the iPhone.

If the APN settings are not accessible, then changing them is going to be extremely difficult.

You may have difficulty getting SMS/MMS texting to “send” due to the APN settings on some networks.

Some SIM cards may give you access to a hidden menu feature that allows you to set the correct APN manually however others don't.

If the Hidden Menu feature is supported by your SIM you find it at Settings/General/Cellular

Called :- Cellular Data Network

Here you can manually set the necessary MMS/WAP codes for MMS.

Those that don't won't let you send SMS/MMS -however you may receive them - Be warned !

This being a SIM card function is a right pain and should be universial within iOS

This is just perfect, Net10 told me how to set up the settings but I cannot see the Cellular Data hidden features - just on/off. Everyone is pointing at each other, apple to phone carrier and phone carrier to apple playing ping pong with the customer. Net20 supports MMS however, I just want someone to tell me how the heck do I change the settings when I'm creating a profile on Apple Configuration Utility that has nothing to do with any carrier. It is Apple, so that said, does Apple rep know their own product, so far it seems no.

Net10 SIM cards piggyback on the AT&T network. Because the phone sees the AT&T network, it does not realize that it should show the settings you're looking for.

Net10 is not a supported carrier. You'll have to work it out with them.
