Hello,

I purchased some ring tones from itunes but they are not working. Underneath of automatic downloads I turned music and apps and use cellular data on and they still are not downloading after I go through the process of assigning the ringtone. Can anybody help me? I have the iPhone 4.

Welcome to the Apple Community.

Ringtones are not currently part of the content that can be re-downloaded. You should sync your ringtones to other devices via iTunes on your computer.

Thank you for your response. So, should I download itunes onto my laptop and set up an account? Then buy the music and sync it to my iPhone 4? I do not know how to sync it to my iPhone 4 and where it will put it so that I can assign it to people in my contacts. Can you advise? Thank you so much

Sorry, just to recap. Are you saying you only want the ringtones on the phone, if so I'm not sure what automatic downloads has to do with it, perhaps you can run through your problem again.
