I need to reinstall XSAN on Lion and the Recovery HD is locked

Hello,

I run a network and inherited some Mac XServes running Lion in an XSAN. I don't know much about Macs and accidentally removed XSAN from one of the servers. I read all I need to do is reinstall Lion to keep my files, settings and get XSAN back. When I boot to command-R and try to reinstall Lion, my recovery drive says it is locked. My questions are:

Is there another way I can reinstall XSAN?

Is there a way I can unlock the recovery HD to reinstall Lion?

By the way, the computer is running normally. I just need to reinstall XSAN without changing settings. Any ideas?

Xserve, Mac OS X (10.7.3)
