This update is causing my macbook pro to crash

Each time I try to run this update, my macbook pro restarts. Has anyone else experienced this?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

Boot into recovery mode (Hold option when booting) and repair permissions and disk using disk utility

Thank you for the reply. I booted in recovery mode and repaired permissions and disk using disk utility. However, this did not resolve the issue. Each time I attempt to run this update (HT3669), my macbook pro crashes.
