You can download games from any website, Gamer911, as long as it is approved by Gatekeeper. If you download a game that isn't approved by Gatekeeper, it is a little risky. However, if you download the game from a well-known source like EA online or through the EA Origin software, it is perfectly okay. Also, for games like Minecraft, it is okay, as long as you downlaod them from the correct source. For Minecraft, just buy it from Minecraft.net and download it like you are supposed to. Why would it not be safe? If you are not illegally downloading the games from websites like The Pirate Bay, and you are actually buying the game like you are supposed to, you should be okay.
