iPhone5 bluetoorh not connecting to Jaybird Freedom 3 headset

My iPhone5 (iOS v6.0.2) doesn't recognize my Jaybird Freedom3 headset. I had no problems with my old iPhone4s and the Jaybird. The iPhone5 connects with my Ford bluetooth car system fine. Anyone else have problems with the Jaybird and IP5? Apple, please fix.

I have the same headphones for a little over a year. Worked perfectly with my iPhone 4 but terrible track record with my new iPhone 5. I truly believe this is a software issue as I've thoroughly reviewed these forums (and tried the workarounds). Recommend contacting AppleCare and at least register the concern. Unfortunately, these headphones are sitting on the shelf as they have proven unreliable for my long distance runs.

Was having this exact problem until I looked into the Jaybird instruction manual, perhaps you are doing the same thing. The instrution manually states to correctly pair the headphones with a device you have to hold the power button for 8 seconds until the led light alternates between red and blue. I was just turning the device on and expecting it to be in pairing mode. Hopefully this can help rectify your issue.
