i keep trying to redeem a couple gift cards and my itouch keeps telling me to reenter my password in order to redeem. i enter it and it tells me the same thing over and over, never redeeming anything. help!!

thanks for that link!!! however, i dont think thats the case, i was able to enter the gift card directly onto my itunes on my laptop and sync it up with my itouch, it just keeps asking for my password when i try to put the info in my itouch and ive never had problems with it in the past. very frusterating!!
Next time try going to Settings>Store (or iTunes and App Stores) and sign out and sign back in.
