Q: I want to change my data carrier from an existing Verizon plan to AT&T to enable me to use it internationally, without having to search out "hotspots"

My IPad ia an older one, an IPad 2, I think. How do I change my data carrier from Verizon to AT&T to enable me to use the IPad internationally without having to search out hotspots??

    Sorry, but you cannot use a Verizon-model iPad 2 with any cell carrier other than Verizon's international partners for data roaming, of which there are few. If you want to use your iPad 2 overseas, you'll probably just have to search out WiFi hotspots. You could possibly use a cellphone with a tethering plan, but that would probably be prohibitively expensive for international roaming.
