Happily, I just published my first book on the iBookstore. I was surprised to see that it is not compatible with iPhone or iPod Touch. It says:
Requirements: This book can only be viewed using iBooks 3.0 or later on an iPad. iOS 5.1 or later is required.
Can someone tell me why and what i can do to make the book work on iPhone and iPod Touch?

I thought that was a limitation of any iBook created with iBooks Author - they were inherently iPad specific. Something to do with Apple's proprietary XML extensions and other modifications they've made to the standard epub format?
Or, did you not use iBooks Author?

Yes indeed - that's it. I used iBooks Author. Completely forgot about its limitation that way. Do you know if i need to create a "new edition" or if i can update the book to a new format without starting all the way over in the delivery process?

Sorry, that I do not know. Hopefully someone with more experience with iBooks Author and the whole iBooks publishing process will see this and post back.
