Overdrive Media app for download books from Library. parts of books are "greyed out" on laptop

Using Over Drive Media for download from Public library. Some parts are "grayed out on laptop and dont transfer. Books have parts missing. HELP. Help me with making playlists. ipod touch 4th gen.
