ipod touch doesn't play music or keyboard sounds

I have an ipod touch 2nd Generation and a few weeks ago, when i select a music file to play, the player application returns me to the top of the album selection or artist selection without playing any song, i notice too that even keyboard sounds, app sounds (like games) and alarms do not play any more. So i reset to factory settings many times to see if the error get fixed, but still not working... For a moment whit the lastest version of the itunes my ipod touch worked, so i turn it off for a wile, when i finish my work i turn ON my ipod again and the problem still... I would like to find a correct fix of this problem because i search everywhere whitout a solution..

Thanks in advance Team!

Try:

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Reset all settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore from backup. See:

iOS: How to back up

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
