Bought a song on itunes from my ipad, says its downloaded but when i try to click on it, it skips it. I have tried restarting, linking it up with my iTunes on pc. Though it wont let me delete it or play it from itunes. When on the the songs in the library it has the blue trial circle around the song lke found on itunes?
That's a sign that it is still trying to download or the download was corrupted. You did try swiping across the song in the songs tab of iTunes and try to bring up the red delete button?
Reboot the iPad and see if you can delete the song.

Right, ive tried this, but it wont shift nor play. The one thing i have noticed is that in my library it has a square (like the sample of music on itunes) where the red delete appears, and the red delete wont appear, and i cant delete it on the artists either. Ive checked and it states that it has been downloaded on purchased on itunes.

I just thought of something.... Are you trying to play the song in the Music app on the iPad? That is where you play music on the iPad, not in iTunes. Forgive me for asking .... I don't know how long you have had your iPad so I have to ask.
Nah, i know how play music and all that, i thought that the problem is with itunes though. Plus another thing i tried to play it on itunes from purchased (as it wont work on music) and it redirect sme to music and puts a black blank page up which i cant exit unless i end the music task.
Btw ive had my ipad for a bit now, but only just come across a problem, but thanks anyway
Are you using iTunes Match? I don't use it, but I'm wondering if this has some bearing on it.
You will not be able to play anything more than a sample from iTunes. I assume that since the song is "on your iPad" already, iTunes is redirecting you to the Music App where it should be played. It's as though you actually downloaded the sample of the song and not the song itself from the way that you described it. Another user described this same thing in another discussion that I saw. That's really odd.
Hmmmm. Ive checked on my settings and match is off, but if its any help genius is on, can you give me a link to that discussion if that is possible.

I don't think that having Genius enabled should affect this but I quit using Genius some time ago.
Right thats ok, i might try again on my pc to remove it, my reckoning is that the download has errored.
