Voice control keeps activating by itsself

So I recently udpated my 4th generation iPod touch from 6.0.0 (which I had no trouble with) to 6.0.1.

Since this udpate, my music has automatically started pasuing on its own, the voice control activates when the ipod isn't even in use, and sometimes the song chages by itself. The ipod is only about 9 months old and has been taken fairly good care of.

Anyone know what the problem is or how to fix it?

Thanks!

Try:

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Reset all settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore from backup. See:

iOS: How to back up

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
