My phone is locked when I pressed the home button three times for guided access. How do I unlock it? I've tried pressing it three times as directed but it wont work.

Try resetting the iPhone. Hold the on/off and home buttons together for about 10 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Then once it restarts, if it's still in guided access, triple click the home button and enter the passcode.
