Im having trouble zooming in while doing a screen recording on quicktime player? I have a iMac the new slim model(late 2012). Is this a feature of the quicktime player on the verison I have? Also my OS? If you can help please do this has been bugging me. Thanks!!!

CMD+alt+8 to turn Zoom on, then CMD+equal sign to soom in.
I am not aware of a way to make QT zoom in while doing a screen recording. You can zoom the screen (as per the instructions given by BDAqua) but, when I tried it, the QT recording window changed along with it, continuing to take a movie of the same piece of the screen.
Im guessing this feature was taken out. I can zoom around while in the actual operating system. But when entering quicktime and screen recording I can zoom. But once the video is finished and played back, the zoom spots I did are not on the recording. Im guessing most likely ill have to get a paid verison of Screen recroding software if I want this done? Thanks for the response !
Yes I can zoom in the actual OS. But the problem is getting it to hold up once the recording is done. Or show up once the .mov file is played. Thanks for the input!
