Home Recording Set Up

I have a Korg M50, Acoustasonic 150 amp, Epiphone Les Paul ukulele with passive pick-up and am thinking of starting with MacBook Pro and Saffire Pro 24 interface. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. TIA
