Transfer Network settings from System Config

Not 100 % sure I'd get the answer here but this will be used on an install of 10.6 server. Any help will be useful.

So here is my problem. I have a MacPro 1,1 currently running 10.4.11 Server. It has 2 Ethernet ports which are bonded and configured to a Managed Switch. Some of you may also know that a MacPro 1,1 had issues with Video cards failing and since I could run it headless I have for about 3 years now. (Video card had to be removed since it caused Kernel Panics)

Now I want to Migrate to 10.6.8 Server (Lions out since from what I read the Quad Xeon I have is not above Min Req) I have installed 10.6.8 Server on an external drive using a different Mac and have not Booted to that drive yet it is 100% clean. I want to place that drive in the MacPro 10.4.11 Server and do the Migrate but how will I control it? The IP will not be set, or more important the Ethernet bond0 configuration.

What I want to do, if it can be done is move the /Library/Pref/System Config/ files onto the clean Drive of 10.6.8 Server. My thinking is the Ethernet bond0 and IP will be in place and if I can make sure the VNC info is there I can find a way to do the Migration Headless. I do have the old Video card but am worried about a Kernel panic during Migration and I'll have to start over 20 time to get it done.

So any ideas on how to proceed would be awesome! If someone has or knows where I can find detailed instruction how to move the Network Setting I need please let me know.
