My iPod touch isn't connecting to the wifi

When I try to connect to my school's wifi, with my iPod touch, it doesn't work. I have the correct password, username, etc., but when I choose to connect to the wifi, it always has the loading signal, and never actually connects. It doesn't show the checkmark that means you're connected. I also cannot connect to any Internet page cause it's obviously not connected. I've connected to the wifi before, but recently this has been happening.

Any ideas?

Does the iPod connect to other networks?

Do other devices now connect?

Try:

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Power off and then back on the router

- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections

- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points

- Restore from backup. See:

iOS: How to back up

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
