In the Boot Camp Control Panel in WIndows simply select Boot Camp and select (I think) Apply and it will "remember" to keep Windows as the default start up Partition.
While booted in the Mac side you can also just go to System Preferences/ Startup Disk and select Boot Camp and it will "remember" Windows as the default partition.

Thanks. Where would I find "Bootcamp Control Panel" in Windows 7? I don't see it in (Windows) Control Panel.

It is in the Windows Control Panel, or should be. Did you install the Windows Support Software (downloaded in Boot Camp Assistant)? or from your installation disc.
If it isn't in with the other Control Panels then the other area is the Task Bar/Dock thingy at the bottom of the screen. Weird, it "should" be in the Control Panel folder.
I don't recall installing the Windows Support Software.
Well that explains it I suppose.
When you download and install the Windows Support Software (Boot Camp drivers) it makes Windows more compatible with Apples "hardware". If you don't have any issues then you should be fine. Just use the Mac side to enable it then you won't have to worry about it, at least until you need to boot back into the Mac side.....
good luck......
Thanks. I went to Mac preferences and chose "untitled" as my startup disk and now it boots directly to Windows.
