I have download the itunes but dont know how to download the iso 5.1.

I dont have the software update on my . I went to setting then general an the is no software update.
As I said above, follow the instructions for updating it from iTunes on a computer, not those for doing it from the device itself.

I tryed that but its been telling me, Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active or try again later.
Try disabling the computer's security software.
Also maybe here:

still nothing. Been working on this ipod for 3 days an not even close. downloaded the new "itunes" on my computer an still nothing. I really hate ipods.... Im not sure what to do now.
