IPhoto Issue w/ Key Event Picture Appearing

IPhoto Crashed and now event key photo do not appear. Open the file and all the pictures are in the folder. Already tried changing the key photos but nothing appears. Some events did remain w/ Key Pictures showing. Any idea how to restore key photos that are now a default picture of a Palm Tree and Sun?
