IF you are running iOS 8 or up, there is a 'recently deleted' folder.

HAve you checked that? I know it sound simple, but if you aren't aware that it's there...

it holds your recently deleted photos for 30 days.

Simply click on your "Photos" app and there should be several options:

- Camera Roll

- Favorites (if you have any)

- Videos

- Recently Deleted

Photos you deleted are saved for a period of time. Each photo in this category lists the # of days until permanent deletion.

I do recommend backing up your photos (and other data) on iTunes from time to time to avoid permanent deletion. Hope this helps!

So, when the person you are responding to wrote their post in January of 2013, there was no such thing as "Recently Deleted". You really should take a look at the date on any post your are responding to to ensure that your are actually helping the person you are trying to help. I imagine that 2 years later, the poster has found a solution.

after you get them back update becuse ios 8 has a deleated photos section that lets you recover them riht from the phone

The reason I respond to a post 2 years later is because others may be having the same issues and look to a post like this for resolution.

Agreed with The Sheriff - even though i Cloud can be frustrating at times, it's saved my pictures in the past as well!

Your reply makes no sense to the OP who posted the question 2 years ago. The feature you are describing did not exist then. Updating to iOS 8 is not going to bring photos that were deleted before there ever was any such thing as a Recently Deleted album. Pay attention to what you are posting and to whom.

I have a big problem, i just pluged my iphone in my Windows and went to itunes, i accidently pressed "back up now" instead of restoring my old back up to my phone. So.... My iphone backed up in sec. and i lost the old backup and i don't know why, please help me with my problem i want to know how can i recover this backup, it is really important to me because i had like 2k photos on it.

Please guys help me out.

Most of the time (I wish I could guarantee, but "most of the time" is the best I can do!) itunes makes a snapshot backup right before restoring. The snapshot backup folder has a date stamp on it, unlike the usual backup. If you go into the iTunes preferences (edit menu in iTunes for windows I think) and the Devices section, do you see an extra backup for your phone, with the date in the name?

The person to whom you're replying was a spammer who posted two years ago. They are not going to help you do anything. If you deleted your pictures and do not have a back up, they are lost.

You can go to Albums at the bottom and go to the recentley deleted pictures folder then go to the top and hit recover all or delete all or select the ones you want to delete or restore.
