iPhone 5: How to recover deleted photos?

Where you able to fix the issue? The same thing just happened to me. The only difference is that for some reason, all of my brothers info. went to my phone:(

i dropped my phone to water after that i check it and it's LCD was destroyed and i have to change it .now after change it's LCD the phone did not turn on and they say if you change it's OS version it will be turn on but i have some photos and videos that i don't want to be lost them.

now if i change my OS version how can i recover my deleted photos an videos?

Hi,

For any one else struggling with this and you have iOS8, try your recently deleted album in your Photos app. If not, try restoring from an iTunes or iCloud backup. However this will only work if you had created a backup before the photos were deleted.

If you haven't created a backup, you can recover deleted photos straight from your iPhone with a program we developed here in my office.

Photos you delete on the phone are not immediately deleted. They're moved into a 'Recently Deleted' folder, from which you can recover them.

Check Photos -> Albums -> Recently Deleted

You should have something like 30 days to retrieve them.

(caveat: this may be tied to the iCloud Photo Library, but I don't know for sure since I've always had that enabled)

The Recently Deleted Album is available on any device running iOS 8 or higher, or on any Mac running Yosemite or higher.

The post you are responding to was written long before that feature had been added to either. FYI - it is not tied to iCloud in any way. It is a feature of the app.
