can't download on itunes

I have always been able to buy music on iTunes. My last purchase was in November 2012. I tried last week to buy a couple of CD's, but this time, for some unknown reason, it doesn't work. When I click on Buy, nothing happens. And I mean nothing. No pop-up error message, no sound, no going to another page. Plain nothing. I haven't changed anything on my computer since November - or at least I don't remember changing anything.

I have written to iTunes support. After asking me to send a screenshot of my iTunes page, this is the reply I got, but that didn't help me much.

The error you describe may be caused by the presence of web acceleration or firewall software. While the iTunes Store is unable to provide technical support, I can recommend that you either test your connection to the iTunes Store without the presence of this software or configure your system to allow access to the iTunes Store's address.

For assistance in configuring your firewall or accelerator software, you may need to contact its manufacturer or your Internet Service Provider. When contacting support representatives, it may be useful to have the following information:

Can anyone help?
