I for got the passcode for my ipod touch. When I connect it to my computer, itunes 11 tells me it can't access the ipod because the passcode is not entered and it won't show up in "devices." Is there anyway for me to reset to factory settings and start from scratch?
I'm running itunes eleven on a WIndow's 7 machine.
Any help would be appriciated.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.
