Q: 3 second delay with i tunes music

I was having problems with i tunes. I have the latest version and recently couldn't ubderstand why when I clicked on a tune it took 2-4 seconds before it would play. It stopped immediatly when I clicked it but when I tried to start it again, there was another 2-4 seconds delay. This had just recently started to happen.

After a lot of perserverance, the penny finally dropped. I had switched on the sharing button for the Apple TV and the delay was because i tunes was connecting with the device wirelessly before it would play. Just thought I'd let you know in case anyone else was getting splinters in their fingers from scratching their head.
