page flickers on reloading - is that usual?

Hi Everyone,

If i click a link on page A and goto page B, then back to A, the type and page jumps up and down (usually twice). It's really starting to annoy me, to the extent that i downloaded Chrome just now, but really i'd much rather keep using Safari. The thing is that Chrome doesn't do this, and it can be very distracting loosing your place on the page. I'm also getting this on iOS, so i guess it's coded into the apps.

Try it on this page: http://www.guardian.co.uk click a link, then go back to the original page. It seems to be as the ads load in, the page jumps up and down.

So i'd love to know is this normal, or do you get a consistent page, similar to what i'm seeing in Chrome. If not, any suggestions in how to correct it? (Also, this seems new to me, and might be a product of the latest updates.

Many thanks
