How can I get my movies taken on my iPad to play in Apache Open Office?

The company I work for uses Open Office version 3.4.1 and I have been tasked with created a promo video for them. I have made the video and they wanted me to put specific clips into a Open Office Power Point (OO version) presentation, however the apple formats obviously do not register with OO. Is it possible to convert the file type?

iPad 2, iOS 6.0.2

Virually any movie can be converted to another format with an appropriate converter, though you'll have to do this on a computer. If you'll tell us what operating system your computer runs, we can probably offer suggestions. OpenOffice supports QuickTime MOV files and WMV, among other formats, I believe.

Regards.
