I just bought an appletv v3 and realized that it doesn't support 1080i. My TV only supports 1080i, not 1080p as appletv supports. So now appletv automatically scales down to 720p. Worthless !!! Older version of appletv is said to support 1080i. Any tips?

If your TV only supports 720p then that's what you will need to use.

720p has almost as many pixels per unit time as 1080i, I doubt you will see any difference.

Thanks.

It was using Chrome on iPad via airplay that was rotten. Now I use Perfect browser and it's much better.
