I have downloaded mp3's to my computer, and then imported to iTunes in the past. Just yesterday as a matter of fact. I have a few mp3's that I'd like to import from my RCA Pearl mp3 player that will not import. Any thoughts or answers why?

The headers on the problem tracks may be corrupted or nonstandard. This can happen with some MP3 conversion or import utilities, and iTunes is very picky about headers. If you search the web for "mp3 repair" you'll find a number of repair tools. Here are a couple I've seen mentioned:
I haven't tried any of the versions of either, so I can't attest to how well (or indeed if) they work, but they'd be worth a try.

ok I tried MP3 Validator and that didn't work.
How are you trying to import the MP3s and what happens when you try?
File>Library>Import Playlist and then I choose the file I saved; open the file, and then nothing happens.
That's the wrong command. That's for importing a playlist file previously exported from iTunes. You need to either use the Add To Library command or just drag the MP3s into the iTunes window when you're viewing your list of songs.

I tried drag and drop and the same thing happened; nothing. I'll try the Add to Library command next.
Same thing as before iTunes does nothing weird...
Put copies of the songs into the Automatically Add to iTunes folder. That way you'll know for certain if iTunes is rejecting them or has in fact added them to the library but isn't showing them where you expect to find them.

Normally <User's Music>\iTunes\iTunes Media\Automatically Add to iTunes otherwise it is inside your designated media folder. You can check where that is from Edit > Preferences > Advanced.

Copy a few of the problem files in the folder to see if they get added to iTunes. If iTunes really doesn't like them they will end un in a Not Added subfolder. If they don't end up there then we need to see why you can't find them in the library.

Okay when I went into the folder to copy the mp3's this is what windows says: Windows Media Player cannot find the file. If you are trying to play, burn, or sync an item that is in your library, the item might point to a file that has been moved, renamed, or deleted.
