Creation of sample packs using logic?

Hi There - Don't know if anyone can help me with this at all. I am geting into sound design, with a view to making my own sample packs, to sell online.

I wanted to know if i can make loops from the included instruments in logic. For example, a programmed drum beat using the ultrabeat kits, or by using the EVP88 (electric piano) or even the garageband instuments.

I would be playing short sequences in on a midi keyboard (some chords, keys, a bassline etc) and then bouncing these out to Wav and then selling the Wavs as part of a zip file.

I suppose it would be like creating a shorter verison of a full track!

Does anyone know if this is permitted? I would really apprciate some advice.

Thanks
