Hi, my macbook and iphone 4s are constantly trying to connect to bt openzones (and in doing so are interferring with my home wifi connection). I've tried 'forget network' on the iphone and making sure my home wifi hub is at the top in the network preferences on my macbook. Nothing works. Please help!

bt being Bluetooth? That shouldn't interfere with your wifi. Are you using Bluetooth on the iPhone and MacBook? If not turn it off.
Hi, thanks for your reply. It's not being bluetooth, rather continually taking precedence over my home wifi and stopping it from connecting properly. I can't seem to make my phone or laptop ignore the bt wifi or disable it in any way. It would be ok if the bt actually connected but it doesn't, it just tries and tries.
Ahhhhh....so bt is another wifi network. Have you tried turning "ask to join networks" off on both devices?
Yeah they are both unchecked. So frustrating! It seems to be a fairly common problem but I can't find a solution anywhere.

I'm not ready to give up just yet. Open the Network preference pane. Select your Wi-Fi in the sidebar on the left and click the Advanced button. In the resulting window make sure "Remember networks this computer has joined" is checked.
A question...what is happening that indicates to you that bt is "interfering" with your Wi-Fi?
"Remember networks ..." is checked yes. I suppose I'm guessing a bit. My husband uses a pc laptop and android phone and doesn't have any problems at all with our home wifi. I get frequest interruptions when it just fails to connect. I have to turn of wifi, turn it back on and select our home network. This happens on my laptop and phone.
What brand and model wireless router are you using? Have you checked to see if there are firmware updates from the manufacturer?
Have you just tried rebooting everything? Modem, router, phone and Mac.
