MacBook Air
Update tells me i need macbook air efi firmaware update 2.6.
I have hit update 3 times, when the system comes back, it tells me it needs the update again - been around and around on this - anyone else having issues geting this to take?

The efi update will only install if you have your MBA plugged in yo a/c during the installation
Yep - it is plugged in - followed the instructions - it runs through the gray screen with what looks like the updater - then cycles back and still wants to install.
sorry i am at a loss to help any further. in my case running MBA 5.2 mid 2012 and the efi worked for me. I will look around for possible solutions and post back if anything is found

one more thing to check if it really did install. verify yout ROM version from system report. if efi 2.6 installed your ROM should read
