I've tried a lot of stuff but nothing has worked:
I connect one account to the other, but then I don't see the home share button or any of the music (from that account) on my songs list. Help Please.

If home sharing is set up correctly you should have an option to see other libraries in the devices list.
It sounds like you are trying to create Home Sharing using different Apple IDs on each computer. This will not work. Irrespective of what each computer is logged into the itunes store with, you need to cteate a home share on each machine using the same Apple ID. It does not matter which one as long as it is the same. Here are three articles which will help you.
