Date loss issues.. Need serious help ..

Alright, so. Iv had my iPod for over a year now and this has never happened.. I bought Bruno's new album (unorthodox jukebox) and I had to factory restore it. I backed everything up but when I put it back on my iPod, I had no music or apps.. So does that mean I'm stuck buying it again? or is there a way i can contact apple and get it again. I have the purchase on my Credit Card showing up as 1$ though (I used a gift card for the other amount)

If anyone has anything reguarding this. Please contact me at wright.nick1997@me.com

Thanks

iPod touch (4th generation), iOS 6.0.1

Do you use iTunes, or are you managing all your music exclusively on the iPod? The latter is a dangerous strategy. You can use iTunes to download purchased music again. Just click on the "Purchased" link on the right side of the screen. It should be obvious from there. There may be a way do re-download directly to an iPod, but I don't know what it is. If you don't want to use iTunes to manage your iPod, you really ought to consider subscribing to iTunes Match. It will store up to 25,000 tracks in iCloud.
