how do i share an ext HD through a local (home) network?, how do i share an ext HD through a local (home) network?

im trying to connect a external HD to my modem (cisco) so i can access it on my macbook pro and destop macpro?


i think i press apple-k to bring up the address but then what...?

In Mac OS X 10.5 or later, the "SHARED" item in the sidebar will show the volumes if "Bonjour computers" is enabled in the Finder menu Preferences... > Sidebar > Shared.
