Going back to iTunes 10 on iMac

I downloaded iTunes 11. I want to go back to the previous version (iTunes 10). How can I totally delete iTunes 11?. I thought I could do it using Time Machine, but there seems to be an issue with the "itl" file. In addition, I am getting iTunes ERROR ( - 42408 ). In short, I can't access iTunes. Please advise. Thank you!
