Upgrading iCloud

I just purchased the extra 20GB for $40 per year on my iPhone. The charge is reflected on my bank account, but the iCloud storage is not reflecting the extra 20GB...just the original free 5GB. Anyone have any idea why??

When I first tried to purchase, it seemed to go through and then prompted me that my credit card was declined. This was very puzzling because I had just purchased two songs through iTunes with the same account and same credit card. But, for purposes of clearing up any confusion, I re-entered my credit card number. It said it was declined again. When I logged into my bank online the charge for $40 was shown as 'pending', meaning it actually worked!

Now, when I go to settings on my iPhone (or on my Mac) for iCloud it only shows the free 5GB and NOT the extra 20GB I just purchased. So frustrating! Any help you can provide would be SINCERELY appreciated!!

Thank you,

Cindy

Not sure, but pending means it was pre-authorized but not yet posted. If there was an initial problem authorizing the transation the added storage may be delayed until the charge is actually posted to your account. Although this was an iCloud purchase, iTunes store support may be able to clarify this: http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html. (Contacting iTunes store support is free; contacting iCloud support will involve a charge unless your device is within the 90 day free support period or you purchased AppleCare Plus.)
