cannot activate my iphone 3
I cannot seem to get my iphone 3 to activate.

Can you provide us with some additional details. This is sort of like, "I cannot seem to start my car."

Sorry.. I guess more info would help. I bought a iphone 3 used. I was told that it was locked to my carrier and not jailbroken. I was told that they recovered the phone and it was all set for me to use fresh. When I try and get the phone going I cant seem to get it to activate. I have tried restoring the phone trying to activate thru phone itself and thru itunes but it keeps saying unable to active. I know the sim that is in the phone is working because I have tried it in other phones to be sure.
Call AppleCare and give them the serial and model number of your iPhone and ask them which carrier it is locked with.
