I synched my phone and now my apps icons are missing on my iphone. I can see them and open them if I go to the app store. How do I get the icons back on my screen?

HELP, I synced my iphone and computer and now my apps icons are missing on the screen of my iphone. I can access the apps only through the apps store by pressing OPEN. How do I get the icons back on the screen for the apps?
