how can i delete photos from desktop if i accidentally transferred them there

Hi,

I have recently (by accident) copied ALL of my photos (1000's) to my desktop and now my operating system is very slow!

Is there anyway that I can quickly and easily delete these photos?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities

If you don't have more icons on Desktop apart from the pictures, just select Edit menu > Select All, and drag them to the Trash
